buddy buddies

I had a ton of fun working with Meta to create this sticker pack for Messenger, themed entirely around cute, squishy little characters!

"Cute" is right up my alley so designing each of the twenty unique stickers was such a pleasure, we landed on a wide assortment of buddies - cats and dogs, a banana, even coffee cups and clams!

The animations were created in After Effects, optimised for smooth vector playback with Lottie. However we wanted to keep that tactile and importantly squishy feel, so each buddy was first roughed out with a hand drawn 2D animatic.
