I had the great opportunity to redesign a national icon, the beloved mascot of BBC Children In Need: Pudsey Bear.

Wolff Olins approached Animade to refresh Pudsey Bear, who hadn't had a lick of paint since 2003. The goals was to create a Pudsey who was bursting with character and could connect with the audience on an even deeper emotional level.

We were very careful to keep what made Pudsey Pudsey, while bringing an energy life and three-dimensionality which brings him to life in a whole new way.
